This data shows the footprint associated with what people who live in your area buy and use.
Our footprints are calculated from a consumption perspective. This means that the the impact of any good or service is allocated to the person and place where it is consumed. It is not allocated to the place where the impacts (e.g. factory emissions) are produced.
It is important to fully understand this approach when using the data.
